Navigating the world of ostomies and J-pouches can be challenging, but you’re not alone. Whether you are newly diagnosed or a seasoned veteran in managing your condition, the Calgary Ostomy & J-Pouch Virtual Support Group offers a community filled with understanding, resources, and invaluable support. We meet via Zoom on the last Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm.
Our meeting is an opportunity to connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through. Share your experiences, learn from others, and find the emotional support to make all the difference in your journey.
Our discussion will cover critical aspects of ostomy management, including diet, hydration, and how to choose the right appliances for your needs.
For those with a J-pouch, we’re planning a “breakout group” session to focus on your unique challenges and questions, depending on attendance.
