Join Calgary Ostomy for our annual Awareness Walk in support of the Step Up For Ostomy 13th annual campaign. This year marks World Ostomy Day, which occurs every 3 years.
This important event raises funds for the Ostomy Canada Society, while breaking the stigma of ostomies through our Awareness Walk.
Step Up For Ostomy will be packed with activities to unite the ostomy community, including:
- Awareness Walk
- Seated Yoga for those with mobility issues
- Free t-shirts, sponsored by Hollister
- Ostomy Expo – featuring ostomy manufacturers and vendors
- BBQ Lunch and fellowship
- “Bags Out” Photoshoot
