Ostomy Discover Day Ft. Salts
June 28 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Discover Salts: Skin-Friendly Ostomy Care with Aloe Vera.
Join us on June 28 for our next educational hybrid meeting, Ostomy Discovery Day featuring Salts Healthcare. Guest speaker Chris Nord, Business Development Manager with Westech Health Care Ltd., will introduce attendees to Salts’ innovative ostomy products and their commitment to skin health through Aloe Vera-enhanced technology.
This informative and welcoming afternoon will also feature ostomy summer tips, an opportunity to ask questions of an NSWOC (Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care), social time with fellow ostomates, and light refreshments.
Please note that this will be our final Ostomy Discover Day before our summer break. Our Osto-Meet dinner and Ostomy Support Group sessions will continue throughout the summer, with regular meetings resuming in September.
Everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!
Session Overview:
Chris will introduce attendees to Salts Healthcareostomy products, which are manufactured in the United Kingdom and distributed in Canada through Westech Health Care. Salts Healthcare is recognized for its commitment to skin health and is the first—and currently the only—ostomy manufacturer to receive recognition from the British Skin Foundation for its skin-friendly hydrocolloid technology. During the presentation, attendees will learn more about the Salts product line, innovations in skin-friendly ostomy care, and how these products may support comfort and confidence for people living with an ostomy.
In addition to our featured presentation, the afternoon will include practical Summer Ostomy Tips covering hydration, skin care, travel and camping, and swimming with an ostomy. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of our NSWOC “A Team”—Amanda Shelvey, Alyson Wood, and Andy Chua—who will be available to provide expert advice and answer your ostomy care questions. After the educational sessions, enjoy light refreshments and connect with fellow ostomates in a welcoming and supportive environment.
